“Schedule posts, pin at optimal times and keep your audience engaged throughout the day. Viraltag supports all major social networks including Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr & Linkedin”
Viraltag is a social media marketing tool that specializes in sharing photos and visuals. It allows users to manage multiple social networks like Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
I’ve just taken part in their free 14-day trial and have enjoyed setting up so far. The functionality of the site is really user-friendly and what interests me most about ViralTag is support for Pinterest.
ViralTag allows you to easily schedule your Pins by bulk or single image posting. With the browser extension, you can pin directly from any website, including re-pins from Pinterest. It also provides a dashboard to track your Pinterest performance and you can explore content from feeds, popular images and also design images.
If you use Pinterest for your business, Viraltag is a Pinterest approved tool and would definitely save you lots of time.
Price: $24/Annual or $29/month
Write an honest review of Viraltag and they’ll give you 6 months for free and a discount on your monthly price after that at $9/month.
Sneak peek of the dashboard:
Scheduling from one place just makes managing all your accounts much less time-consuming.
Let’s take a closer look!
Please remember, it’s new for me too. I will provide as much information as I can but there will be a follow up post letting you know how my experience will be in the long run.
⇉ This will take you to your dashboard- Here you will find the tabs; Scheduled posts – Drafts – Recent post – Evergreen content – Failed posts – Posting schedule.
Here you will find all the posts in your calendar scheduled to go out. You can change the interface in Calendar or Your posts will appear as a list in the order that it was scheduled.
At times you might come across an image you’d like to schedule, but just not yet. You can save the image as a draft and come back later to schedule.
Check posts that you have scheduled. You can repost or make a pin evergreen content just by clicking the button you see in the post.
One of my favorite features of Viraltag is the ‘evergreen content’ option. To add content to this section, you simply check a box that says ‘evergreen’. Any posts you add in this section will be automatically posted to your social accounts whenever there is an empty slot in your posting schedule.
There is an option where you can set not repeat the same evergreen post more than once in a set number of days. I currently have mine set to not repeat more than once in 7 days.
*Evergreen content is content that is always relevant.
Evergreen content has no expiration date and ideally will retain its value over the long-term.
Couple amazing content with timelessness and you start to see the value of evergreen. Traffic, engagement, and conversions don’t just peak once and then trail off. They grow over time.
By clicking the button settings you can set the number of days.
The Failed Posts tab shows you the posts that have not been posted on Pinterest because of some error which will be mentioned underneath the posts in red.
This tab shows time slots set for each day of the week and each social network. These are the pre-set time slots according to which your posts will be scheduled, you can edit the slots or add new time slots.
You can also set time slots through Recommended Times. This shows you the best times to post based on your traffic data. ⇲
⇉ Here you can explore content from feeds, popular images and also design images. Tabs here are; Feeds – Designs
You can add RSS feeds within Viraltag and select from a constantly updated stream of images from each feed. I added my Pinterest and some of my favorite Pinterest fellow designers. All I needed to do is click the pins and repin them.
And if you’ve run out of ideas, the ‘Popular images’ tab allows you to find images according to categories.
Viraltag integrates with Canva to enable you to create Canva images and use them immediately in your scheduled posts. Can’t wait to check this out!
In the “Design” tab, select the social media network for which you would like to create a Canva image.
My first impression is really good, and I can’t wait to use all the functions.
⇉ Here you can access your analytics tools. Tabs are; Traffic – Pinterest – Analytics.
Viraltag offers integration with Google Analytics, Pinterest Analytics and also has an inbuilt Analytics that lets you monitor and reports how your content is performing.
It is also based on statistics. It determines the best time for you to post content on your favorite social media sites.
Viraltag provides reports including:
- Best Times to Post and overall traffic
- Under ‘Most Engaging Pins’ and ‘Most Engaging Boards’ you can view Pins that have been repinned the most and check how many likes and comments you have.
- Pinterest Analytics and followers growth
You can take a look at the growth of Pinterest followers under the “Followers Growth” section.
⇉ Here you can add your social networks.
There are more advanced tools out there but ViralTag has the necessary features that will help you keep your Pinterest fresh and updated. This can help you grow your following and drive more traffic to your website. So if you just need help with scheduling your pins to keep your Pinterest updated throughout the day, ViralTag is definitely for you.
